The Custom Window Blind industry generally consists of marketing companies, plastic molders and extruders, blind manufacturers and retailers. The largest entities in this industry are marketing companies. Generally these large marketing companies purchase their products from independent molders and extruders then license independent manufacturers to fabricate products using their name. The manufacturers then sell to retailers who eventually sell to consumers. The cost of distribution through 4 independent businesses drives the cost of the product disproportionately high. At American Window Blind Company we have altered the traditional distribution process of the Window Coverings Industry. We are the manufacturer and the retailer.
